Springfield, Ohio
Springfield is a truly unique mid-western city that offers that amenities of a large city but has the feeling of a Hometown. This truly is a place that has a little something for everybody. Whether you are a military famiy looking to stay close to base (15-20 mins), a family looking to establish roots and settle down, a student coming to experience one of the best school in the country in Wittenberg University or the affordable Clark State Community College.
If you are an outdoorsman, there are extensive hiking paths, parks, camp grounds, bike trails, hunting, boating and much more.
History:
Springfield was established as a city in 1850, 5 years after Wittenberg University was founded.
During it's peak in the late 1950's it was a major industrial city with major companies that called it home including the Crowell-Collier Publishing Company which published the Collier Weekly. However as with many other cities in the "Rust Belt" Springfield has experiencing a phase of population decline as industrial types of jobs moved away. In the past year the decline has nearly plateud and more families are choosing to call Springfield home.
However, Springfield is a very resilient and viable city with diversified industries and influencial people and organizations that continue to fuel the local economy including major players like Navistar International, Springfield Regional Medical Center, Wittenberg University and others.

Dayton, Ohio
Dayton is a sprawling city with diversified industry and a ethnical homogeneity. Since being established as a city in the spring of 1796 it has had a lot of trial and tribulations as have many other cities in the "Rust Belt". However despite all of the challenges, Dayton continues to attract and harness and retain business. Dayton's history is as rich as it comes. At one point, Dayton was the innovation capital of the world.
Many ground breaking companies and the largest Air Force Base in the world have made Dayton their home including NCR (National Cash Regstry) which was founded in 1884 by John Patterson (left in 2009 to Duluth, GA), Mead Corp., Key Bank, Wright Patt AFB, along with many others.
Dayton has a had a share of succesful professional sports teams as well. Between 1964-1977, te Dayton Gems Hockey team manager to get 6 IHL (International Hockey League) championships! Currently, the Dayton Dragons minor league team is the only professional sports team in town, until we have a professional soccer team in 2 years!
Dayton also boasts some of the best schools in the area including but not limited to University of Dayton, Wright State University along with numerous others.
Downtown Dayton boasts some of the best night life and entertainment in the area. In addition some of the best shopping around is right here in Dayton.
